Bad economic times forced Quebecor to close its printing plant in Kingsport a couple of years ago. It began as Kingsport Press and was the largest book printing facility in the world at one time. Part of the plant has been demolished and what you see is part of the original buildings. The city now owns the property and hopes to use it to promote new industry.
